Madeline Jazz Harvey is Associate Professor and Interim Associate Director of Dance at Colorado State University. Her performance career includes seasons with Charlotte Ballet (formerly North Carolina Dance Theatre), Ballet Greenville (formerly Carolina Ballet Theatre), and IMPACT Dance Company from 2004-2025. Her choreographic résumé features over 56 original works, including collaborations with composers, psychologists, visual artists, and community members. As co-founder of the Arts and Parenting Collective and Principal Investigator for Movement Through Parenthood, her current research explores intersections of dance and parenting. Madeline holds an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University and a BA in Dance from the University of North Carolina, where she received the 2024 COAA Distinguished Alumni Award. She became a member of CORPS de Ballet in 2018. She supported the Nominations Committee with electronic voting during the Covid-19 pandemic, and currently serves as a reviewer for the Support and Mentoring and Scholarship Committees.
